VIDEO CONFERENCING DISPLAYS screens you can see under bright lights
You need 800 lux illuminance (light) for cameras to work properly. This kills most screen images - but not ours!
You need 800 lux illuminance (light) for cameras to work properly. This kills most screen images - but you can avoid this.
THIS SITUATION IS GOING TO GET WORSE - IN 2009 MANUFACTURERS ARE MOVING FROM CCD to CMOS CHIPS NEEDING EVEN MORE LIGHT TO WORK WELL.
Bright lights kill most projected images. But not if you use dnp rear projection screens or dnp optical front projection screens (Supernova). Using these screens you can create images of any size, resolution and brightness (up and greater than 3000 nit [cd/m2]).
Bright lights can also destroy flat panel images (LCD & plasma). Spotlights shining onto gloss surfaces cause specular reflections - also known as 'disability glare.' Our optical projection screens have matt (light absorbing) involving multiple international patents.
We have the products and expertise to help resellers, consultants and specifiers.
The main front projection products here are dnp Supernova Screens.
For rear projection the main products are dnp rear projection screens. These are coupled with Paradigm Easy-Erect mirror rig systems or Paradigm PaperView rear projection displays to make complete systems - usually with your camera built in for optimum results.
Split screen demonstration: bright light projection needs good screen technology - not powerful projectors. Remenber this when designing VC rooms!!!
